Refund Policy
Applies to All Services Clients are encouraged to book and hold the timeline for your project with a deposit of $5. This serves as a non-refundable cancelation fee. However, the fee can be credited towards a future service upon Teffymoo's approval. All remaining balances are due when the client has accepted the final product.
All services can be paid for via PayPal or Ko-Fi. I will NOT accept checks. If a client pays by check, I will request an alternate form of payment. If none is available, the client's request will be declined.
If the client cancels before the project completion date, I will keep the $5 deposit as a cancellation fee. The cancelation must be made in writing or by direct message.
However, if the client needs to change the project completion date, I will do my best to accommodate the change, and no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available and within 10 days of the original date scheduled.
If I cannot perform this contract for any reason beyond the control of both parties or due to an illness or emergency, then I, Teffymoo, shall return the deposit and the project fee to the client within 7 days but have no further liability.

Substantive
(Developmental) Editing
Your document is evaluated as a whole; structure, organization, coherence, and logical consistency are corrected. Sentences may be removed or added. Paragraphs may be rewritten, condensed, or expanded. Turnaround time must be negotiated.

Small / 300 - 500 words $10 per page
Medium / 500 - 1000 words $15 per page
Large / 1,200+ words $25 per page
Copy Editing
Your document is evaluated for problems of grammar, style, repetition, word usage, and jargon.
Turnaround time is two to three business days.Pricing depends on the length of the project and the turnaround time

Proofreading
Your document is evaluated for minor errors, such as:
errors of grammar and style (e.g., verb tense, units, use of numerals and words such as “5” or “five”)
errors of capitalization, punctuation (e.g., commas, semicolons, colons, periods, dashes, apostrophes)
errors of spelling and word usage (e.g., to/too, affect/effect)
Pricing depends on the length of the project and the turnaround time
Turnaround time is two to three business days.

Formatting
Your document is evaluated to ensure that it complies with the required format,
such as the format required by a specific journal. Turnaround time must be negotiated.

References / Work Cited
I am well-versed in researching reliable sources for journals, essays, and projects.
Thus, I will research and set up appropriate citations for your written materials.
Your document is also checked to ensure that each citation appearing in the text is included appropriately.
The format of the citations is also evaluated. (i.e. MLA, Chicago, APA, etc.)

Peer Review
College courses often ask for such things when it comes to a manuscript or semester project.
I’ll simply be marking the changes needed or discussing changes needed in your document,
not doing the corrections. (This will incur additional fees, turning into a "Substantive Edit".)
